Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar packed
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ cups macadamia nuts roughly chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line several baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to cream the softened butter with both sugars until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon; mix well.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla to the fluffy butter and sugar mixture. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until the dough is smooth.
  5. Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts using a spatula only until evenly distributed.
  6. Use a 1 ½ tablespoon scoop to form dough balls and place them on the baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart. Bake for 11-13 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Allow cooling completely on the sheets before removing.
