- 2 lbs ground chicken
- 1 medium onion
- 4 oz crackers
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1/2 tbsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp black pepper
- 7 tbsp avocado oil for frying
Instructions
- Crush the crackers in a small bowl until they resemble fine crumbs. Mix with 3/4 cup of milk to form a wet paste and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, crushed garlic, salt, black pepper, and the cracker-milk mixture. Mix well until sticky.
- Heat 7 tbsp avocado oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat (350°F).
- Using a 1/4 measuring cup, scoop and form the meat mixture into oval patties and place 8 to 9 patties into the skillet.
- Cook each side for 3-5 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Transfer to a paper towel-lined dish.
- Serve.
