- ¾ cup (150g) sugar (brown sugar, honey, or maple syrup also works)
- 2 cups (470ml) water
- ½ large pineapple (peeled and diced)
- 2 ripe mangoes (peeled and diced)
- ½ large papaya or 1 small one (peeled and diced)
- 4–6 kiwifruits (peeled and diced)
- ½ lime, juiced
- ½ lemon, juiced
- 1 cup (236ml) passion fruit puree
- 1–2 guavas, blended and the seeds strained for pulp (or ½ cup pineapple juice)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, mix the sugar and water together.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, continuously stirring until the sugar dissolves, which takes about 5-7 minutes.
- Allow the syrup to cool before using.
