- 16 ounces orzo
- 1–2 packets taco seasonings
- 3 & ½ cups chicken broth
- ⅓ cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Fresh chopped parsley or cilantro

Instructions
- Brown the ground beef over medium high heat.
- Transfer the browned beef to a small bowl, reserving 2 tablespoons of the fat in the pan.
- Add orzo to the skillet and toast for 3-5 minutes, stirring often until slightly golden.
- Mix in the taco seasonings and chicken broth, stirring all ingredients together.
- Increase the heat to high and bring to a boil while stirring frequently.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer uncovered for 13-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened.
- Stir the browned beef back into the skillet along with the heavy cream.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese and cover to let melt.
- Serve hot with chopped parsley or cilantro, if desired.
