- 2 (8-ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
- 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese at room temperature
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/3 cup sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Unroll 1 can of the dough and place it in the bottom of a 13×9 glass or metal baking dish, sealing the perforations.
- In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar until smooth. Incorporate the egg and vanilla, then spread the mixture over the dough.
- Unroll the second can of dough and position it on top of the cream cheese layer, pinching the seams together.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the top. Combine the remaining 1/3 cup sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over the butter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the bars appear set and golden on top.
- Allow to cool for 15-20 minutes before serving them up.
- Refrigerate any leftovers and reheat in the microwave at 50% power for 5 to 10 seconds.
