Sopapilla Cheesecake Bars offer irresistible flavor and simple preparation. With cream cheese, crescent rolls, and a hint of cinnamon, they’re perfect for any occasion.

  • Total Time: 1 hour
  • Yield: 12 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (8-ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Unroll 1 can of the dough and place it in the bottom of a 13×9 glass or metal baking dish, sealing the perforations.
  3. In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar until smooth. Incorporate the egg and vanilla, then spread the mixture over the dough.
  4. Unroll the second can of dough and position it on top of the cream cheese layer, pinching the seams together.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter over the top. Combine the remaining 1/3 cup sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over the butter.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the bars appear set and golden on top.
  7. Allow to cool for 15-20 minutes before serving them up.
  8. Refrigerate any leftovers and reheat in the microwave at 50% power for 5 to 10 seconds.
