- 2 black tea bags (family sized)
- ¾ cup sugar
- 2 cups water
- 12 ounces raspberries fresh or frozen
- 6 cups water
Instructions
- Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a small saucepan.
- Add ¾ cup sugar to the boiling water and stir until dissolved (omit sugar for unsweetened tea).
- Remove from heat and add the black tea bags, steeping for 15 minutes for a strong flavor or 10 minutes for a lighter brew.
- In another saucepan, combine 6 cups of water and the raspberries, and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and let it simmer for an additional 5 minutes, then remove from heat and steep for another 5 minutes.
- Strain the raspberry mixture using a cheesecloth or strainer to discard solid pieces.
- Remove the tea bags from the brewed tea and mix it with the raspberry liquid.
- Refrigerate the mixture until ready to serve.
