Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb (16 ounces) spaghetti, uncooked
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Boil the spaghetti in salted water until al dente, then drain and toss with melted butter.
- Layer half of the spaghetti noodles in a 9×13 baking dish.
- Mix cream cheese, cottage cheese, and sour cream in a bowl. Spread this mixture over the noodles and add the rest of the noodles on top.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with diced onions. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute. Drain excess fat and stir in marinara sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- If preparing ahead, cover the dish with aluminum foil and refrigerate, or freeze for later baking.
- Bake in the preheated oven, covered, for 30 minutes. Remove the cover, sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top, and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted.
