These Ham and Cheese Sliders are a crowd-pleaser, featuring flavorful honey ham and Swiss cheese between sweet Hawaiian rolls. Ideal for quick dinners or gatherings, they deliver comfort in every bite.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 24 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 white dinner rolls or slider rolls
  • 24 honey ham slices
  • 24 small slices swiss cheese
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup miracle whip
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and slice the rolls lengthwise using a large serrated knife.
  2. Combine mayonnaise and miracle whip in a small bowl. Spread the mixture onto both sides of the center of each roll.
  3. On the bottom half of each roll, place a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese. Close the rolls and arrange them in a large baking dish or heavy cookie sheet, keeping them very close together.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk together the ingredients for the poppy seed sauce. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the sandwiches, using enough to cover the tops without saturating them.
  5. Let the sliders sit for 10 minutes to allow the butter to set slightly, then cover with aluminum foil and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  6. Uncover the sliders and bake for an additional 2 minutes until the tops are slightly browned and crispy. Serve warm.

Notes

You can prepare the sandwiches ahead of time but don’t assemble them more than one day in advance to avoid sogginess.
To keep leftovers fresh, store them in an airtight container.
