Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cake batter extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles
- 1 (8-ounce) tub cool whip, or 2 cups whipped cream, optional for fluffier dip
Instructions
- Whip the softened butter in a stand mixer or with an electric mixer on high speed for about 2-3 minutes.
- Gradually add in the powdered sugar on low speed, mixing until fully combined and scraping down the bowl as required.
- Mix in the vanilla extract, cake batter extract, and heavy cream. If the mixture is too thick, adjust with a bit more cream until it achieves the desired consistency. Whip on high for another 2-3 minutes.
- For a lighter dip, gently fold in the whipped topping or whipped cream before incorporating the sprinkles, if desired.
- Fold the rainbow sprinkles into the mixture evenly.
- Cover the dip or transfer it to an airtight container until you're ready to serve. Ideal for dipping with mini Nilla wafers, teddy grahams, or graham crackers.
