- 1 cup sour cream or full fat greek yogurt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add melted butter to the mixture and stir until coarse crumbs form. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in vanilla and mix until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 2.75 cups of flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients into the butter mixture, alternating with the sour cream, until thoroughly mixed.
- Fill muffin tins with batter and top with the brown sugar crumb mixture prepared earlier.
- Bake the muffins until golden brown, then let them cool before serving.
