  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar

  • 2.75 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup sour cream or full fat greek yogurt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Add melted butter to the mixture and stir until coarse crumbs form. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in vanilla and mix until combined.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together 2.75 cups of flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the butter mixture, alternating with the sour cream, until thoroughly mixed.
  8. Fill muffin tins with batter and top with the brown sugar crumb mixture prepared earlier.
  9. Bake the muffins until golden brown, then let them cool before serving.
