- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter melted and slightly cooled
- 1 cup light brown sugar or dark brown sugar packed
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs room temperature lightly beaten
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1¼ cups white chocolate chips
- ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan by lightly coating it with nonstick spray and lining it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt together.
- In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, beaten eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mix, stirring just until combined.
- Fold in 1 cup of white chocolate chips and the optional nuts if desired.
- Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and sprinkle with the remaining white chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 23-27 minutes until the edges are lightly browned and they pull away from the sides of the pan. A toothpick should come out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs. Allow to cool completely before slicing.
