Instructions
- Remove the sirloin steaks from the refrigerator and allow them to sit at room temperature for 20–30 minutes.
- Pat the steaks thoroughly dry with paper towels and rub both sides with olive oil.
- Season both sides of the steaks with kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for about 3 minutes.
- Arrange the steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring enough space between them for air circulation.
- Air fry at 400°F, adjusting for doneness: 6–8 minutes for rare, 8–10 minutes for medium-rare, 10–12 minutes for medium, or 12–13 minutes for medium-well. Flip halfway through cooking.
- Use an instant-read thermometer to check the thickest part of each steak and adjust cooking time if necessary.
- Remove the steaks from the air fryer and top immediately with butter.
- Let the steaks rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing them.
- Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley, if desired, and serve warm.
