Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 small garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Thai chili, minced
  • 1 lb sirloin steak
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil (for cooking)
  • 5 oz mixed greens
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes, sliced
  • 3/4 cup red onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, loosely packed
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint, loosely packed
  • 1/4 cup peanuts, chopped

Instructions

  • Whisk dressing ingredients together and set aside.
  • Season sirloin steak with salt and pepper.
  • Heat oil in skillet and sear steak for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • Let steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • In a salad bowl, add mixed greens and top with tomatoes, onion, herbs, and peanuts.
  • Drizzle dressing over the salad and toss gently.
