  • 16 oz cream cheese softened

  • 8 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F.
  2. Grease and flour three 8-inch round cake pans, or use baking spray, then set them aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar and vegetable oil, mixing well.
  4. Add in the buttermilk, eggs, vanilla extract, and red food coloring, then mix until smooth.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cocoa powder, and vinegar.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  7. Divide the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans.
