Instructions
- Melt 2 cups chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon shortening, coat the tart pan, and refrigerate until set.
- Mix creamy peanut butter, sifted powdered sugar, and softened butter until smooth for the filling.
- Scoop peanut butter mixture into the chilled tart pan and smooth the top.
- Melt remaining 2 cups chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon shortening, pour over peanut butter layer, and smooth it out.
- Refrigerate for about one hour to allow the pie to set.
- Slice and serve chilled with optional toppings.
