- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 1 lb ground beef
- 25 oz marinara sauce
- 14.5 oz petite diced tomatoes (1 can)
- 1/2 cup cold water
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 30 oz refrigerated ravioli
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese, grated
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the onion and ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Add marinara, tomatoes, and water. Season and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a baking dish.
- Layer half the ravioli, half the sauce, and half the cheese. Repeat layers.
- Cover and bake for 30 minutes, uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
