Ingredients

  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 25 oz marinara sauce
  • 14.5 oz petite diced tomatoes (1 can)
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 30 oz refrigerated ravioli
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, grated

Instructions

  • In a skillet, brown the onion and ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Add marinara, tomatoes, and water. Season and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a baking dish.
  • Layer half the ravioli, half the sauce, and half the cheese. Repeat layers.
  • Cover and bake for 30 minutes, uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  • Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
