Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange Saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Melt butter in a saucepan, stir in brown sugar, and bring to a boil. Bubble for 3-4 minutes.
- Pour toffee over crackers and bake for 5-7 minutes.
- Sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips over hot toffee, allowing them to soften, then spread evenly.
- Melt white chocolate chips, stir in peppermint extract, and pour over the chocolate layer.
- Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top before white chocolate sets.
- Cool at room temperature for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for 1-2 hours before breaking into pieces.
