- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups white chocolate chips or candy melts
- Candy eyes (for decoration)
Instructions
- Beat the softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until creamy.
- Add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt, then mix into the butter-sugar mixture.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers slightly underbaked.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Melt white chocolate or candy melts and drizzle over cooled cookies.
- Add candy eyes before the chocolate sets.
