Ingredients

  • 1 box of chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 can (14 oz) of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate syrup
  • 1 container (8 oz) of whipped topping or whipped cream
  • 23 Heath bars, crushed
  • Chocolate shavings (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs in a bowl until smooth.
  • Pour batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  • Let the cake cool for 15 minutes.
  • Poke holes in the cake with the handle of a wooden spoon.
  • Mix sweetened condensed milk and chocolate syrup and pour over the cake.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  • Spread whipped topping over the cake and sprinkle with crushed Heath bars.
