Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Sirloin, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 large yellow onion, chopped
  • 4 large white potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 4 large carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic, minced
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • Water as needed
  • 1 can (6-8 ounces) Tomato Paste (with Basil, Garlic, and Oregano)
  • 2 tablespoons Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • Garlic Salt to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • ½ package Frozen Peas

Instructions

  • Brown the Ground Sirloin in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning with garlic salt and pepper.
  • Transfer the browned sirloin to a Crock-Pot and add onion, potatoes, carrots, and garlic.
  • Pour in chicken broth and enough water to cover the ingredients. Mix in tomato paste, onion soup mix, Italian seasoning, garlic salt, and brown sugar.
  • Cover and cook on high for six hours, stirring occasionally.
  • Add frozen peas 45 minutes before serving.
  • Adjust consistency by switching to low or adding water if necessary.
