- 1 pound Ground Sirloin, cooked and crumbled
- 1 large yellow onion, chopped
- 4 large white potatoes, peeled and diced
- 4 large carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1 tablespoon Garlic, minced
- 4 cups Chicken Broth
- Water as needed
- 1 can (6-8 ounces) Tomato Paste (with Basil, Garlic, and Oregano)
- 2 tablespoons Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
- Garlic Salt to taste
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
- ½ package Frozen Peas
Instructions
- Brown the Ground Sirloin in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning with garlic salt and pepper.
- Transfer the browned sirloin to a Crock-Pot and add onion, potatoes, carrots, and garlic.
- Pour in chicken broth and enough water to cover the ingredients. Mix in tomato paste, onion soup mix, Italian seasoning, garlic salt, and brown sugar.
- Cover and cook on high for six hours, stirring occasionally.
- Add frozen peas 45 minutes before serving.
- Adjust consistency by switching to low or adding water if necessary.
