- 1 sleeve Saltine crackers (about 40 crackers)
- 1 cup Unsalted butter
- 1 cup Brown sugar, packed
- 2 cups Chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
- ½ cup Sprinkles, for decoration (choose your favorite Halloween colors)
- Optional toppings: chopped nuts, M&Ms, or other candies
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a 15×10 inch baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper, and spray with non-stick spray.
- Arrange Saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat, add brown sugar and whisk until boiling.
- Pour caramel over crackers and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 5-7 minutes or until caramel is bubbly and golden.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over the caramel and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the caramel.
- Add sprinkles and optional toppings.
- Cool at room temperature for at least two hours, then break into pieces.
