- 1½ lbs salmon fillet, cut into 4 slices
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp dried chili flakes
- 1 tbsp salt
- Oil for brushing the grill
Instructions
- Combine marinade ingredients in a shallow pan.
- Marinate salmon in the mixture for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat grill to 450°F (232°C) and oil the grates.
- Grill salmon skin-side down for about 4 minutes.
- Flip and grill for another 3 minutes.
- Simmer remaining marinade to create a glaze.
- Brush glaze on grilled salmon before serving.
