Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 °F (175 °C) and line an 8"×8" (20cmx20cm) pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted fat, sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir in the yogurt until just combined.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir gently until almost no flour streaks remain; avoid overmixing.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring the butter is well incorporated into the batter.
- Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and smooth it out evenly. Top with optional mini chocolate chips.
- Bake for 20-24 minutes or until the center is set. Cool completely before cutting, as they will be gooey; chilling helps firm them up.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or refrigerate for 1 week; they can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
