Instructions
- Peel, core, and dice the apples.
- Combine kefir, egg, and sugar in a bowl.
- Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, stir gently.
- Fold in diced apples and let rest for 20 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan.
- Drop fritters into the hot oil, fry until golden brown.
- Mix icing sugar with lemon or lime juice for glaze.
- Drizzle glaze over warm fritters before serving.
