- 1 cup of unsalted butter
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup of white chocolate chips
- 2 cups of saltine crackers
- 1 cup of chopped nuts
- A sprinkle of sea salt
Instructions
- Grease the inside of the crockpot.
- Combine butter and brown sugar in a saucepan, heat until boiling.
- Layer saltine crackers in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Drizzle half of the toffee mixture over the crackers.
- Add half of the semi-sweet chocolate chips, then pour the remaining toffee mixture.
- Top with remaining chocolate chips and optional white chocolate.
- Set crockpot on low for 2 hours.
- After cooking, gently stir and mix in chopped nuts.
- Let cool for 30 minutes in the crockpot, then transfer to a baking sheet.
- Allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces.
