- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 1 cup frozen seasoning blend (optional)
- 1 (8-oz) tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1–½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 6–8 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- salt, pepper, garlic powder & onion powder (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and spray a 9×13 inch casserole dish with cooking spray.
- In a large skillet, cook the breakfast sausage and optional seasoning blend over medium-high heat until browned and crumbly. Set aside.
- Unwrap the crescent roll dough without separating it and place it in the casserole dish while pinching the seams to form one cohesive sheet.
- Spread the cooked sausage mixture evenly on top of the crescent roll dough, then sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, and seasoning, then pour the mixture over the casserole.
- Bake for 25-35 minutes, or until golden brown and puffy, and the eggs are set. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing into squares for serving.
