This Crescent Roll Breakfast Casserole is a delightful combination of savory sausage, creamy eggs, and melty cheese all baked in a flaky crescent roll crust, making it an ideal choice for brunch or a quick family breakfast. Easy to prepare and absolutely satisfying!

  • Total Time: 0 hours
  • Yield: 12 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 1 cup frozen seasoning blend (optional)
  • 1 (8-oz) tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 68 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • salt, pepper, garlic powder & onion powder (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and spray a 9×13 inch casserole dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the breakfast sausage and optional seasoning blend over medium-high heat until browned and crumbly. Set aside.
  3. Unwrap the crescent roll dough without separating it and place it in the casserole dish while pinching the seams to form one cohesive sheet.
  4. Spread the cooked sausage mixture evenly on top of the crescent roll dough, then sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Whisk together the eggs, milk, and seasoning, then pour the mixture over the casserole.
  6. Bake for 25-35 minutes, or until golden brown and puffy, and the eggs are set. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing into squares for serving.

Feel free to add vegetables of your choice to the sausage mixture for extra flavor and nutrition.
Let the casserole cool slightly for easier slicing.
