  • 1 cup pitted and halved fresh cherries, divided
  • 1 cup chocolate chips, divided

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 320°F (160°C).
  • Line a 9-inch square baking tin with parchment paper.
  • Melt butter and chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
  • Combine sugar, eggs, and vanilla with the melted chocolate mixture.
  • Sift and fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
  • Fold in cherries and chocolate chips.
  • Pour batter into the prepared tin, topping with remaining cherries and chips.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes until edges are firm and center is slightly set.
  • Cool in the tin, then lift out and slice.
