  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • 1 ½ cups sour cream
  • ½ cup bacon bits
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup cornflakes, crumbled
  • Freshly grated Parmesan, for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F and prepare a baking dish.
  • Melt butter in a pan, sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.
  • Add green beans and cook until heated through.
  • Prepare the cream sauce with remaining butter, flour, nutmeg, salt, and pepper; mix in sour cream.
  • Combine green beans with the cream sauce.
  • Transfer to baking dish, top with bacon bits and cheddar cheese.
  • Mix cornflakes with melted butter and add on top.
  • Bake for 20 minutes and finish with grated Parmesan.
