- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine warm milk and yeast in a mixing bowl; let sit until frothy.
- Mix in sugar, softened butter, eggs, and salt; whisk until combined.
- Gradually add flour, mixing to form a dough. Knead on floured surface for 5-7 minutes.
- Let the dough rise in a greased bowl until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- Prepare filling by mixing softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle, spread the filling, and roll tightly into a log.
- Cut the roll into 12 equal pieces. Shape into butterflies and place on a baking sheet.
- Allow rolls to rise again for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Create glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.
- Drizzle glaze over warm rolls after baking.
