- 1 cup halved walnuts, roughly chopped
- 3 tbsps pure maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon water
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground allspice
Instructions
- Prepare the roasted butternut squash following a roasting method of your choice.
- In a large bowl, combine the shaved brussels sprouts and your choice of greens, if using.
- Add the roasted butternut squash and thinly sliced honeycrisp apple to the bowl.
- Sprinkle in the shaved parmesan cheese and walnuts.
- Toss the mixture with croutons and caesar dressing to coat evenly.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, water, smoked paprika, ground cinnamon, and allspice. Drizzle this mixture over the salad before serving.
