- 8 slices maple bacon (chopped)
- 8 slices thick-cut bacon
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
Instructions
- Whisk together eggs, half and half, sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl.
- Dip each slice of cinnamon raisin bread into the egg mixture, soaking well.
- Heat a skillet and melt butter, cook soaked bread slices until golden brown.
- Blend cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth for the filling.
- Spread cream cheese on half of the French toast slices, add apple pie filling, cinnamon, and bacon.
- Top with another slice of French toast to make a sandwich.
- Drizzle with maple syrup and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
